Description

RG-DBP-004 inspects the Configuration Management within a Robotic Enterprise Framework (or derivative) project.

The rule inspects non-framework workflows for Get Asset activities.

Misconfiguration of Process

Unecessary duplication of Robotic Enterprise Framework functionality

Mitigation

Configuration Management in the Robotic Enterprise Framework is centrally managed via the project’s “Data\Config.xlsx” spreadsheet.

Register requires Orchestrator Assets in the Asset worksheet to automatically load their values into the configuration dictionary returned by the framework “InitAllSettings.xaml” workflow.
