RG-USG-006 Entry and Exit Point Logging

Description

This rule checks if a given workflow starts and ends with the specified activity.

This rule is configurable allowing the activity to be defined by a user, however, the default value is set to check for log message activities.

Impact

Logging is an essential tool for the operational management of automation. Effective logging quickly identifies the processing path the code has taken.

Mitigation

Ensure each workflow starts and ends with the configured activity.
